The Antique French Biot Jar
We are delighted to share our collection of Antique 18th and 19th century ancient French rope thrown terra cotta pottery from Biot, France, a town in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region near Antibes. Their historical purposes were for storing olive oil and olives. Today the biot jar has become a highly sought after decorative statement piece indoors, as well as in the garden!
